Physically Worn Armor Updates

Return to: Physically Worn Armor

Feb Feast 2026

  • Armor rules have had an overhaul. It is recommended that you read the updated page in its entirety.
  • There is no longer any one-point armor, including the 1 point for "costume armor".
  • Physical armor points apply only to locations armor is physically covering. A hit to an uncovered area applies damage directly to the character's body if no other defenses are present.

  • Your armor value is now the value of the armor covering most of your torso.
    • This means that you cannot have bracers with an armor value of 3, with a torso armor value of 1 and say you have 3 total armor. In this case, your total armor value will be one.
    • If you are not wearing torso armor, take the value of the highest piece of armor you are wearing.

Feb Feast 2025

  • Metal armor thickness requirement changed to 19 gauge.
    • Previously, metal armor had an 18 gauge requirement.
