Last Update Before Dungeon Crawl!
Most of the update this month is quality of life changes. After this, the wiki updates will be on break for the summer with the exception of necessary hotfixes or incorrect descriptions, ect. If you have any concerns, message Shauna on Discord.
We've changed the entries below to better clarify them based on what was seen and heard at the June 2025 event. If anything looks a little weird or you've got questions, don't hesitate to ask any Rules Committee member or post a message on Discord and tag @Rules.
- Clarified that the Poisoned condition attached to this call is unpreventable.
- Poison Immunity, Brackish Boon, Dreadlord, etc do not help you here.
- Clarified that any alchemical that calls for 'Blight!' does not trigger healing from Brackish Boon.
- Don't you have something more important to use that on?!
- Clarified that the level 1 signature spell granted at Chosen of Dragon Daddy 1 can stack with the one granted at Maven 4.
- Essentially, you have the option to pick two different signature spells, or you can opt for two no incant/no power cost casts of the same spell.
- Clarified that the level 1 signature spell granted at Maven 4 can stack with the one granted at Chosen of Draconus 1.
- Essentially, you have the option to pick two different signature spells, or you can opt for two no incant/no power cost casts of the same spell.
- Clarified that mediums can move stolen sparks between characters, not only return them to the correct character.
- This was a spirit of the rule vs rules as written issue- there isn't any reason for them not to be able to do this, as the one-hour timer for the spark to return isn't reset. Most players were roleplaying it in this fashion anyway.
- Clarified that the Poisoned condition is unpreventable if it is a result of the 'Blight!' call.
- Poison Immunity, Brackish Boon, Dreadlord, etc. do not help you here.
- Added an example list of Rank 5 abilities that are not attainable by players.
- To clarify the mechanic, any RP skill that stated "cast no-incant X call" (for instance, Druid 2's 'Charm Wild!' or Status 2's 'Silence Humanoid!') now reads as "throw a tag bag for X call."
- These are modified calls that don't follow standard spellcasting rules, so we've reworded them to avoid confusion. Abilities that give additional casts of actual spells, like most Chosen 2 abilities, are unchanged and still must meet standard spellcasting requirements unless the ability itself states otherwise.
- Clarified that attuned weapons can still be used by any characters for their damage type, but their abilities can only be used by the attuned character.
- Try to break this one, Soukup, I dare you.
- Completely overhauled the sidebar. There's a lot to see there, but basically all the commonly sought pages should be easier to find.
- The RP skill pages have been updated so that their coding matches new wiki formatting guidelines that I should really write down and not just have in my head. They should all be much easier to read and I clarified some things that weren't 100% clear on abilities (mostly the no power point costs on chosen skills that was mentioned in the table list but not the actual skill description). Coding on main RP skill page changed to pull content from the actual skill pages in order to be less resource-intensive and so they update automatically with any future skill changes.
- The following alchemical pages have been updated to reflect the new wiki formatting standards and for clearer wording. You'll find the page layouts similar to the spell listing- Description, Effect, Detailed interactions, and References. If the alchemical has a special effect it causes (such as truth serum) that will have its own section as well.
